While I was back in Iowa in August I got to take pictures of someone very special to me.....my sister!!! I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers - all younger. We had a great time together while I was back home. She is a beautiful preggers! Hope you have that little girl soon! I'm excited to be an aunt and Brekyn needs a cousin!!

I love taking pictures! It's so awesome to be able to say that. Not that I don't love being a nurse......I just love taking pictures a little more :) I met this cute family at the pediatric office. Little Madalyn does a great job in front of the camera!

Mike and Dana

I was so blessed to be a part of this day!!! I work with Cindy (the mother of the bride) at the pediatric office and when I heard there was going to be a wedding.....well, I just knew that I had to be part of it! Mike and Dana were both simply stunning and have so much love for eachother! They are enjoying their new lives together in England were Mike is stationed. Thanks guys for letting me be there to help capture your special moments!

These two little goof balls were a riot to take pictures of! They wanted to surprise their dad for fathers day (I know....I did these the beginning of June and am just posting them today!) thus the dad shirt and tie! Thanks to Colleen for getting the grandkiddos together for a fun photo shoot!

This is Allie. She is a great babysitter!!!! And looks great in front of the camera!! :) We will miss you at college!

Happy Birthday Brekyn!!

My little Brekyn turned 2 yesterday! I can't believe how fast time goes by! He's really advanced (we joke he hit the terrible twos at about 19 months!). We went to the mountains a couple weekends ago as a family, where he showed us just how advanced he was, and got a few great pictures! Happy birthday little buddy!

I had a great time photographing the Shaw family!! Even though the 3 of them never looked at me all the same time - it really just showed the realness of a photo shoot and their personalities really came through!

my first blog!

Hello to all my friends! Just want to give a shout out to everyone that has supported me through the past year! I have been in school for almost a year now at the Art Institute of Colorado for Photography and have learned so much! There have been so many people that have let me capture some moments for them. I thought for my first blog I would just put up a handful of my favorites. Of course there will always be favorite pictures of Brekyn up here too!!
